AION 2 Halloween Shop: New Skins, Pets and Wings From October 14
NC's October 13 notice lists three $29.99 armor skin sets, $11.99 class-specific Halloween weapon skins, two pets, Spider Wings and eleven 300-Quna cosmetics, on sale until November 24/25.

Two September 29 notices on the official board list the starting servers in Europe, NA West, NA East, Latin America and Asia, pair each Elyos server with an Asmodian one for Abyss matchmaking (pairings will change periodically), and restate the schedule: Advanced Access September 30 to October 4, an eight-hour maintenance window, launch October 5 at 13:00 UTC.

Streams run from the Early Access Launch Celebration on September 30 to the Championship Finals on October 15, and points come from Progression, PvE, PvP, Twitch hours and War Orders. Updated Sept 28: the Sept 30 stream was renamed and two War Desk dates shifted. Viewer drops are promised but not yet detailed, and there is no sign-up.

A 27-second video on the official AION 2 YouTube channel (September 19) announces War for Atreia: a two-week creator competition starting September 30, with 60 creators from 3 regions split between the Elyos and Asmodian factions and led by 6 Captains. It opens on the first day of Founder's Pack Early Access and runs through the October 5 launch. Updated September 25: captains, legions, the stream schedule (Finals on October 15) and the scoring rules are now published on NC's event site.

NC's closing notice, posted at 6:00 PM PDT on September 18 as Day 2 ended, declares the Launch Scale Test over and adds two forward-looking policies: direct player-to-player trades are disabled as an anti-bot measure (the Market is the trading hub), and "members in good standing" join a priority queue when a server is full — a revocable privilege, with "members" left undefined. Steam players must uninstall the Playtest app. Early Access September 30 to October 4 and the October 5 launch are unchanged; no test results published.

Day 1 ran September 17 on the published times. NC's board records two EU server pairs added mid-session (Vaizel/Triniel, Kaisinel/Lumiel), an approximately 24-hour maintenance from 12:00 PM PDT that ends exactly when Day 2 opens on September 18, and a four-item hotfix — quest-object radius, appearance tickets blocked under level 10, a reporting error, client crashes — that NC asks players to download before Day 2. A Steam pre-release FAQ also lists eight launch languages and says full controller support is still being evaluated.

The Launch Scale Test client shows a reworked global Season 1. Gear has higher base Attack but lower soul-binding rolls and no built-in PvE bonus. Crafting above the first Dragon Lord tier (Star for Asmodians, True for Elyos) is transfer-only and bound. Enhancement caps at +5 (green) and +10 (blue), and Conquest dungeons need less item level. Daevanion, Genus Insight, pets and titles are all scaled down, the Ariel board is missing, and hidden cubes give 1,000 Soul Crystals. This is a test build, not NC patch notes: creator Madsin's comparison, checked against the video's game screens and our Korean extract.

NC's official September 16 notice adds two payment methods on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 — one week before Early Access: Apple Pay in 56 listed countries (the US, Canada, the UK, most of the EU, Brazil, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand, but not Japan) and Cash App Pay in the United States only. Availability also depends on "usage environment", and the notice names no storefront, so Steam coverage is unconfirmed.

Start time confirmed September 10 via NC's X post: 10 AM PDT / 7 PM CEST. Aired as scheduled — with Associate Product Manager Void as second host instead of Gator — and archived on Twitch as a 74-minute VOD. Six days before the free Launch Scale Test, whose September 16, 6:00 AM PDT pre-download NC reiterated.

On the record at gamescom 2026 (Q&A published September 7): Game Director Namjoon Kim says NC is preparing a console launch to follow the October 5 PC release, DLSS 5 is in development with NVIDIA, and PC-console cross-play is undecided but probably not planned. The global version is PC-only with no mobile plans, launches on a modified Season 1, and will trail Korea's ~3-month season cadence. No console platform, date or price yet.

NVIDIA's official gamescom 2026 GeForce article confirms the Western build includes DLSS 4.5 from the September 30 Early Access start, and NC published a dedicated DLSS 4.5 trailer on September 2. DLSS 4.5 has run on the live Korean service since the July 15 update, alongside FSR 4. Still unpublished: the global graphics menu, a per-feature breakdown, and any performance figure — and neither company has claimed ray tracing or Ray Reconstruction for AION 2.

NCSOFT confirmed on September 1 that the October 5 global launch ships without an Oceania server, reaffirming North America, South America, Europe and Japan as the four regions — and suggested Oceania players use the Taiwanese build, which it says supports English. That is a separate, region-restricted service with no announced transfer. NC has not said whether an Oceania server could follow later.

Also the stat sheet of the Abyss buff the client calls Battlefield Might, item level 148 and costs for the [True] Praetorian Captain weapons, and exact Abyss ranking rewards. Two things none of the notes we translated mention: a trust score that can block shop purchases (and, it appears, marketplace actions), and a scheduled 'Moon Rabbit's Gift' Daeva Pass. Client data from the Korea/Taiwan service, not an NC announcement.
