AION 2 Early Access Fixes, a Scroll Gift and the Twitch Drops Account Linking Warning
Three official notices from October 1 and 2, 2026: NC released a fix for Early Access status not being recognized and for in-game purchase problems, mailed Battle Enhancement Scroll (Engraved) x5 to players until the end of Early Access, and warned that Twitch Drops must be linked to the account you actually play on, Steam or NC (PURPLE), without separately linking on the NC website. NC says it is still investigating other account linking issues.

The October 1 fix: Early Access status and in-game purchases
NC's "Update on account issues and in-game fixes" notice (October 1, 2026) says some players' Early Access status was not recognized at login, and that others had trouble with in-game purchases. NC reports a fix for both. There is no downtime: the client updates the next time you restart it. The notice also admits that "some players are running into account linking issues", says the team is looking into them, and promises another update without giving a time. Those problems came during the Founder's Pack head start described in our Founder's Pack guide.
As of October 2, 2026, we found no follow-up notice on the board that declares the account linking issue resolved.
Battle Enhancement Scroll (Engraved) x5, by in-game mail
In "A token of appreciation to all Daevas" (October 1, 2026), NC thanks players for their positivity and says to "check your inbox until the end of the Early Access" for Battle Enhancement Scroll (Engraved) x5. The notice gives no exact cut-off time. Early Access runs through October 4 per the Early Access schedule. This is a separate gift from the TAKEFLIGHTAION2 code and the launch rewards covered on our launch rewards page.
Twitch Drops: link the account you actually play on
NC's "Twitch Drops Account Linking Guide" (October 2, 2026) says the account linked to Twitch must be the one you are playing AION 2 on: link your Steam account if you play through Steam, or your NC (PURPLE) account if you play through NC. Linking a different account may mean you do not receive drops.
The notice adds a warning: even if rewards are not granted, do not separately link your account on the NC website, because that may unlink your existing connection and you may lose access to your existing character.
