Aion 2 Elyos Leveling Guide: Levels 25–40

The mid-game. From the Astin Mercenaries questline the main story winds through the canyon and the Aullaeu altars, climaxing in the Fire Temple around level 37 — your first proper story dungeon of the band — before the campaign turns toward the Scarlet Forest at the edge of level 40. There are no new systems to unlock here; this is the stretch where you cash in the Daevanion board and Stigmas you opened earlier and turn hideout and stronghold mats into real Gear Score.

Keep the rhythm: main story for levels, hideouts for Enhance Stones and Daevanion Crystals, strongholds for belt scrolls and manastones, and spend it all as you go. By level 40 your gear should be visibly ahead of where it was at 25.

The Fire Temple step around level 37 is a story instance — make sure your gear is enchanted and your Daevanion board is current before you walk in, the same way you would for any dungeon.

Same one-time-clear hideouts, bigger payouts. Each first clear still gives 15,000 Kina, 2 Daevanion Crystals, a wing/statue material and a title, with the Enhance Stone count climbing into the thousands. The Verteron hideouts for this band are:

These are the last big Enhance Stone drops before the level cap, so clear every one you can — a fully cleared band of hideouts is enough material to take multiple gear pieces several enchant levels higher.

Belt upgrades still come only from the garrison strongholds, and you still need one Noble Belt Enhance Scroll per belt-enchant rung. If you skipped them earlier, this is the band to catch up — your belt is a full gear slot and leaving it at +0 is free Gear Score you're throwing away. Each fort also hands over 3 Lesser Manastones, which you can socket into your gear for extra stats.

Everything in this band points at one number: Gear Score. It's the sum of your equipped item levels plus enchant levels, and Krao Cave Normal — the first group dungeon you're working toward — needs a minimum of 1000. Keep replacing pieces with higher item-level gear from the story and vendors, and keep enchanting with your hideout Enhance Stones (weapon first, then armor, then the belt via stronghold scrolls).

You likely won't hit 1000 by level 40, and that's fine — the final push happens in the 40–45 chapter as the last gear and enchant levels come together. Treat 40 as the point where your set is solid and your systems are humming, ready for the last stretch.

At level 40 the main story heads into the Scarlet Forest and the final campaign chapters. The Elyos 40–45 chapter takes you to the level cap, finishes the story, and gets your Gear Score to 1000 so you can enter Krao Cave Normal — the gateway to the endgame.
