How many classes are in AION 2?
Nine: Templar, Gladiator, Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Cleric, Chanter and the Brawler (added in the Chapter 1 update). Every character starts as an Adventurer and specialises into one of the nine.
Are AION 2 classes locked to a faction or gender?
No. All nine classes are playable by both factions — the Elyos and the Asmodians — and by both genders.
What are the AION 2 races / factions?
There are two playable factions: the Elyos (Light) and the Asmodians (Dark).
What weapon does each class use?
Each class has one main weapon type: Templar — Longsword, Gladiator — Greatsword, Assassin — Dagger, Ranger — Bow, Sorcerer — Spellbook, Spiritmaster — Orb, Cleric — Mace, Chanter — Staff, Brawler — Gauntlet.
