The Chanter ("Guardian Sage") is one of AION 2's two priest classes, but rather than dedicating itself purely to healing it fights up close with a staff and a battery of empowering mantras. It layers party-wide buffs and back-up healing on top of solid melee pressure, making it the game's signature hybrid support: never the main healer, yet able to keep a group standing while contributing real damage. Its staff doubles as both a casting focus and a close-quarters weapon, letting it weave chants, recovery, and strikes into a single fluid rotation.

A sustain-and-support bruiser: open with staff combos like Onslaught, Resonance Crush, Impactful Crush, and Crushing Blow to deal physical damage and apply debuffs, while life-leech and stat-boosting mantras keep both it and the party alive through long fights. It thrives in solo play and as a complementary raid pick, trading peak single-target healing for survivability, buffs, and self-sufficient DPS.
