The Templar is AION 2's dedicated tank, a heavily armored frontliner who fights with a longsword and shield. Built to absorb punishment and command attention, it uses taunts like Provoke to pin a boss's aggro to itself while shielding the party behind it. Its kit blends sustained threat from strikes such as Vicious Strike with damage-mitigation tools like Doom Shield and hard-hitting follow-ups in Punishment and Decisive Strike. The result is the anchor of dungeon groups and a durable line-holder in PvP.
