AION 2 Gladiator
Greatsword brawler who dominates the melee and self-sustains through carnage.
The Gladiator is AION 2's plate-wearing greatsword fighter, billed by NCSOFT as the "master of the melee." It trades the pure shielding of a guardian for raw offense, swinging a two-handed greatsword to carve through clustered enemies while leaning on heavy life-steal to stay standing. Its role is a Tank/DPS hybrid: a frontline damage dealer whose deep health pool lets it step in as a secondary tank when a party needs one. Signature abilities such as Rending Blow, Blade Dance, Blade Toss, Crushing Wave, and Frenzied Wave center the kit on sweeping area strikes punctuated by ranged blade throws.
Playstyle
An aggressive, in-your-face bruiser that closes distance and unleashes wide arcing greatsword swings to hit several foes at once, healing off the damage it deals to outlast opponents. Its AoE burst, gap-closing throw, and defensive tools like Focused Block make it forgiving and strong in both solo PvE and group play.
