AION 2 Pre-Registration Rewards Revealed for Global Launch

Alongside its Summer Game Fest appearance — where AION 2 made a surprise showing with a new trailer in Los Angeles on June 5, 2026 — NCSOFT confirmed the game's first pre-registration rewards. Per NC's official announcement (published June 6, 2026 and distributed to media via an NCSOFT press release), players who subscribe to the newsletter on the official AION 2 global brand website will receive pre-registration rewards, plus ongoing updates ahead of launch.

The headline reward is free in-game companions. Per NC's verbatim English press release, subscribers receive Pagati — a guaranteed companion pet — plus their choice of one additional pet from four options: Konutin Worker, Papis, Black Smoke Murute, or Silver Blade Rotan, with both pets redeemable at launch. (NC's fine print notes you must be 18 or older to claim rewards.) As of June 2026, these are the first concrete pre-registration rewards NCSOFT has confirmed for the Western release.

The only confirmed action required is subscribing to the newsletter on the official AION 2 global brand website. NCSOFT says further details — including any additional reward tiers and the exact launch day — will be released sequentially through the official site. There is still no Steam pre-purchase listed, and no separate paid pre-order is required to claim the companion.

The global launch itself is set for September 2026 on PC, free-to-play, via Steam and NCSOFT's PURPLE launcher, covering North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The exact calendar day has not been announced. Wishlisting AION 2 on Steam remains the other recommended pre-launch step.

As of June 10, 2026, NC has begun sending the newsletter itself: subscribers are receiving an official email titled “[NC] AION 2 Launch Reveal Trailer” (sent from [email protected]) that recaps the September launch reveal and the subscriber rewards, and links the Steam page and the official site's pre-registration section.

The email also links a new official video on the AION 2 Official YouTube channel: “[AION2] Pre-registration｜Pet Introduction,” a 45-second clip showing the companion pets in-game. The video is unlisted on YouTube and is being distributed through the newsletter — we link it below. If you want to see what Pagati and the four selectable companions actually look like before subscribing, this is the first official footage of them for the global audience.

From June 6 to 8, NCSOFT is running closed-door, hands-on AION 2 demos for global media and content creators at the private SGF Play Days event. According to NC, the curated demo highlights the game's core features: flight and aerial combat, a unique class system, sophisticated character customization, and open-world PvP content.

These are NCSOFT-hosted press demos rather than a public test, so they are not the same as a Western beta or closed beta test — none of which has been announced. Expect impressions and footage from attending outlets and creators in the days after the event.
