AION 2 Creator Program Opens: Three Tiers, Follower Requirements and How to Apply
On September 30, 2026, NC's official notice board announced the AION 2 Creator Program for streamers, video producers and short-form creators. It has three tiers: Affiliate (500+ followers), Creator (2,000+ followers plus about 20 average concurrent viewers or 5,000 YouTube views in 30 days) and Partner (50,000+ followers plus about 75 concurrent viewers or 25,000 YouTube views). Applications run through Lurkit with an expected two-week review, and NC calls the numbers guidelines rather than hard limits. Benefits include event access, Twitch drop opportunities, NC staff contact and in-game recognition. No deadline, region limit or War for Atreia link is stated.

What NC announced
On September 30, 2026, the official AION 2 notice board published "Introducing the AION 2 Creator Program", the first open application NC has offered creators for the global game. It describes a program "for creators, streamers and video producers" on Twitch, YouTube, and short-form platforms such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok, and says NC may also send select invites to cosplayers, podcasters, artists and others. Applications run through Lurkit, a third-party creator platform, where applicants can apply, track their status and access campaigns.
This is separate from the invite-only War for Atreia creator event, whose 60 creators NC chose and drafted. The notice does not mention War for Atreia, so we do not know whether the two connect. Its own wording only promises "Creator Program Event Access" and "Invitations to Official Community Events" as benefits.
The three tiers and their requirements
- Affiliate — 500+ followers on a single platform; no viewership requirement.
- Creator — 2,000+ followers on a single platform, plus roughly 20 average concurrent viewers while live, or 5,000 total YouTube channel views over 30 days.
- Partner — 50,000+ followers on a single platform, plus roughly 75 average concurrent viewers while live, or 25,000 total YouTube channel views over 30 days.
NC calls these numbers "guidelines, not hard walls": acceptance below them is at the AION 2 team's discretion, and the notice says NC is happy to take in creators it has had "great conversations" with or who show real potential. The notice states no region or language restriction, and no application deadline, so we treat both as unpublished.
Benefits, and how applying works
NC says access to these benefits scales with tier, and calls the list "some of what's included":
- Creator Program event access
- Invitations to official community events
- Twitch drop campaign opportunities
- Direct communication with NC staff
- Official spotlight and social promotion
- Community giveaway opportunities
- Official social and in-game creator recognition
NC says it reviews every application individually, with an expected turnaround of two weeks, and that every applicant receives a status update and next steps whatever the outcome. If you apply on September 30, two weeks lands around October 14 by our arithmetic; NC gives no dates. The notice does not say what a Twitch drop campaign will contain. Players who only want to earn drops as viewers can look at our War for Atreia schedule and rules page, which covers the drop promises NC has made so far.
What NC has not said
As of September 30, 2026, the notice does not say how many creators NC will accept, what any tier's Twitch drops or giveaways contain, whether there are revenue-share or code-based rewards, or whether it prefers creators from a particular region or language. It also does not say whether accepted creators get Advanced Access ahead of the October 5 launch. Read the terms on Lurkit before applying, and only use the link from NC's own notice: fake "beta" and "free key" pages circulate around AION 2 and are not NCSOFT properties.

Does the Creator Program put me in War for Atreia?
