AION 2 Steam Payment Issue Resolved: Missing Items Delivered, Purchase Limits Restored

What NC announced
On October 15, 2026, NC posted "Steam Payment Issue Resolved" on the official EN-US notice board. It says some Steam payments "failed to process correctly", leaving purchases undelivered or blocking players from buying more, and that all necessary actions to resolve the affected payments were completed on Wednesday, October 14, at 10:00. The notice does not state a time zone. The affected window is October 6 to October 12, 2026, which starts the day after the October 6 patch added the Founder's shop and morph limit and covers the first week after the free-to-play launch.
The two problems and the fixes
Problem one: purchased items were not delivered even though the Steam payment completed. NC's resolution is that the missing items "have now been delivered for all affected payments".
Problem two: a player's purchase limit was used up even though the Steam payment had not completed, which prevented another purchase. NC says the purchase limits for the affected payments "have been restored to their original values".
Per the notice, no action is asked of players. NC apologizes for the delay and says it will keep working toward a stable service.
What the notice does not say
