AION 2 Fire Temple Ordeal Datamine: What the September 16 and 23 Notes Left Out

Every figure here comes from the Taiwanese AION 2 client, which patched to v119 on September 23, 2026, the same day as Korea's September 23 update. It is client data, not an NC announcement. NC's Korean notes for September 16 and 23 list the changes; the client has the numbers behind them. That covers the Fire Temple Ordeal's affix values (at the top settings, +60% boss damage, +260% boss HP, a 10-minute limit, no resurrections and doubled potion cooldowns), four level-88 bosses led by Kromede's Desire, Subjugation Mark payouts of 2,000 to 20,000 per clear, the stat sheet of the Abyss buff the client calls Battlefield Might, item level 148 on the [True] Praetorian Captain weapons, and exact Abyss ranking rewards. The client also holds two things none of the notes we translated mention: a trust score that can block shop purchases (and, it appears, marketplace actions), and a scheduled 'Moon Rabbit's Gift' Daeva Pass.

Korea/Taiwan content. Every figure on this page is from our extract of the Taiwanese client, v119 (patched September 23, 2026): client data, not an NC announcement. Nothing in it says when, or whether, the Global version gets this content.

What this is, and how much weight to put on it

AION 2's Taiwanese client patched to version v119 on September 23, 2026, the same day as Korea's September 23 update. We extracted the new client and compared it, table by table, with our extract of the previous version, v110 from September 9. Every figure on this page comes from that client data. None of it is an NC announcement, and NC's notes don't give these numbers.

Because the comparison starts on September 9, it covers two Korean update notes, September 16 and September 23, plus the emergency maintenance on the evening of the 23rd. We have translated all three: the September 23 note, the September 23 emergency maintenance and the September 16 note. This page doesn't repeat them. It adds the values behind them, and a few things none of them mention.

How far to trust it. The Taiwanese client's schedule dates match the Korean notes, but Taiwan runs its own service and values could still differ from Korea's. Some rules exist only on the server, where the client can't show them; the text says so where it matters, and it marks any reading that is ours rather than the data's. This is Korea/Taiwan content. Nothing in the client says when, or whether, the Global version gets any of it.

Names are the client's own English strings. Several differ from the provisional translations in our notes; the last section lists them side by side, and our September 23 translations now use the client names for the specific items, buffs, events and buttons they mention. One example runs through the whole page: the client calls the weekly challenge mode the Ordeal, where our translations of the notes say Trial.

Fire Temple Ordeal: the value behind every attribute

The September 23 note replaces the Vakron Sky Island Ordeal with one in Fire Temple (entry level 50, item level 4,800) and lists four attributes by stage range: Time Limit 1–3, Resurrection Limit 1–3, Boss Buff 1–8 and a new player-side attribute, 1–2. The client calls that one Player Debuff. Together they set the Ordeal level, from 4 to 16. The note stops at the ranges; the client has the value of every stage:

AttributeLevel 1Level 2Level 3
Time Limit20 min15 min10 min
Resurrection Limit (manual or skill, in combat)At most 2At most 1None
Player Debuff (new)+50% Recovery Potion cooldown+100% Recovery Potion cooldown, −50% Incoming Heal—

Boss Buff has eight levels:

1+10%+0%+0%+0%—
2+20%+30%+0%+0%Lv 1
3+30%+70%+25%+0%Lv 1

5+45%+160%+35%+75%Lv 2
6+50%+200%+40%+75%Lv 3
7+55%+230%+45%+100%Lv 3
8+60%+260%+50%+100%Lv 3

Every Boss Buff level's tooltip also reads "Frenzy timer reduced by 1min".

For comparison, Vakron's Ordeal gave 30, 20, 15 or 10 minutes and 3, 2, 1 or 0 resurrections, and its Boss Buff topped out at +50% damage, +120% HP, +40% speed and +50% stagger.

The easiest run, compared with Vakron's

No attribute can be switched off: every group starts at level 1 and the total starts at 4. So even the easiest Fire Temple Ordeal run has a 20-minute limit, a cap of 2 resurrections, +10% boss Damage Boost with the frenzy-timer line, and +50% Recovery Potion cooldown on players.

Vakron's easiest run had 30 minutes, 3 resurrections, +10% boss Damage Boost and level 1 of Vakron's own Enhanced Mechanics attribute ("Frenzy timer reduced by 1min 30s", "Attacks inflict Poison"). Vakron had no Player Debuff attribute, so no potion-cooldown or incoming-heal penalty. That attribute group is new with Fire Temple.

Our reading: Fire Temple's floor is stricter on time, resurrections and potions, while Vakron's floor had the bigger frenzy-timer cut and poison attacks.

Bosses and layout: four level-88 bosses led by Kromede's Desire

NC's note names no bosses. In the client, the Ordeal's bosses are level-88 versions of Fire Temple's own four: Kromede's Desire, the final boss, with a 240-second frenzy timer, plus Silver Blade Rotan, Red Spark Ignus and Black Smoke Murute. In Fire Temple on Conquest [Hard] difficulty the same four are level 74, and Kromede's frenzy timer is 300 seconds.

All 17 new Ordeal monsters are level 88. The only other new Ordeal NPCs are three invisible level-20 helpers that the bosses' skills summon. One map objective, new in v119, reads "Defeat Red Spark Ignus and Black Smoke Murute".

  • Four Kibelisks inside the dungeon: Path of Atonement - West, Path of Atonement - East, Fire Corridor and Mirror Altar.
  • Recommended party size 1–5. Vakron's was 2–5.
  • The resurrection limit is only counted and reset in mini-boss and final-boss areas. Vakron used the same rule, so that part isn't new.
  • The Ordeal resets weekly on Wednesday at 05:00, and the map itself is named plain "Fire Temple".

Our Fire Temple and Vakron Sky Island database pages list the dungeons' bosses and drops. Neither uses the v119 data yet, so the Fire Temple Ordeal isn't on them, and the Vakron page still shows the Ordeal that v119 hides.

Subjugation Mark payouts, and what a week is worth

Clears pay Subjugation Mark, once per Ordeal level per week (the note's rule). The note gives no amounts. The client's reward table, per clear:

Ordeal levelFire TempleVakron (for comparison)
1620,00020,000
1520,00016,000
1420,00012,000

1112,0007,000
1010,0006,000
98,0005,000
86,0004,000
75,0003,500
64,0003,000
53,0002,500
42,0002,000

Entry uses the "[Ordeal] Final Boss Kill Count", the same ticket Vakron used. Each character gets 7, recharged Wednesday at 05:00, and one is deducted only when the final boss dies. With the once-per-level rule, seven paid clears at levels 10 to 16 add up to 114,000 Subjugation Marks a week; the same seven levels on Vakron paid 79,000. The weekly totals are our arithmetic from the payout table.

What the Ordeal Enhance Stone Chest holds

The chest the note added to the Subjugation Mark shop is called "Ordeal Enhance Stone Chest (Bound)" in the client. The note doesn't say what's in it: it opens to exactly 10,000 Enhance Stone. It costs 4,000 marks with a limit of 10 per week per server account, so up to 100,000 Enhance Stones for 40,000 marks a week.

Achievements and a title

  • The weekly "Clear Fire Temple Ordeal" pays 510 Oath Coin: Chapter 1, 1 Amplify Stone (Unique) (Bound) and 270 points. Vakron's weekly used to pay 340 Oath Coin: Chapter 1, 1 Amplify Stone and 180 points; it is now a hidden tracker with no reward. The Vakron Ordeal itself is hidden in the client, not deleted.
  • "Temple of Burning Desire: Fire Temple I–VII" asks for a clear at level 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14 or higher, and at level 16 for step VII. It pays 500 to 3,400 Oath Coin per step, 12,740 in total, plus 29 Amplify Stones (Unique). Step VII grants the title "Fire Temple Vanquisher" ("Cleared Fire Temple Ordeal at level 16"), which has no stats.
  • "Through the Fire and Flames: Fire Temple I–VIII" asks for a clear with the Boss Buff attribute at level 1 to 8 or higher. It pays 1,130 to 4,220 Oath Coin per step, 22,070 in total.

Because each step reads "or higher", and a level-16 run has every attribute at its maximum, one level-16 clear completes every step of both chains.

Battlefield Might: the stat sheet behind the Abyss buff

The September 23 note gives every player in the Lower and Middle Abyss a buff while one of the listed bosses is up, and names the seven class buffs it overrides, but gives no values. The client names it Battlefield Might (전장의 권능). Its effects:

EffectBattlefield Might
Attack+10%
Defense+5%
Combat Speed+10%
PvE Damage Boost / PvE Damage Tolerance+25% / +25%
PvP Damage Boost / PvP Damage Tolerance+12.5% / +12.5%
Critical Hit / Accuracy+200 / +200 (flat)
Critical Damage Boost+5%
Weapon Damage Boost+2.5%
Skill cooldowns−5%
Double Chance / Perfect Chance+10% / +10%
On hitExtra critical damage (729 + 37.8% coefficient) that also absorbs HP

The data doesn't label the unit of the proc's 3,780 value; reading it as a 37.8% coefficient is ours.

How it turns the class buffs off

The data points to the likely mechanism: Battlefield Might shares the class buffs' buff groups. It sits in the Earth's Blessing / Power of the Storm group. Three hidden, empty buffs named "Fury", "Undefeated Mantra" and "Predation" take the Fury / Experienced Counterstrike, Undefeated Mantra / Light of Protection and Predation groups. A hidden package, internally named "Abyss_For granting buffs before boss (not displayed)", keeps re-applying all four as 2-second buffs, at what appears to be a 0.3-second interval. The shared groups are in the data; that they are how the note's "those buff effects do not apply" works is our reading, and so is the interval, because the data doesn't label that value.

Dissipation of Power, the boss debuff

The Abyss boss debuff that the September 23 emergency maintenance moved from 10 to 8 minutes is called Dissipation of Power (힘의 쇠락) in the client. It cuts Damage Tolerance by 50% and Double Resist by 100%. Its values and tooltip text are unchanged since v110, but v119 reclassifies the visible effect from a buff to a debuff. The Taiwanese v119 tooltip still says it applies "10 minutes after combat start". The client has no timer for it (the condition is not in the data, so presumably the server decides it), so the data can't show which timing the Taiwanese server uses; the tooltip is only text.

Abyss bosses get their own NPC type

All 155 HeroMonster-subtype NPCs in the Abyss move to a new RvRHeroMonster subtype: 37 Abyss bosses and objects (Guardian Lord Nahma, Argo, the Spirit King and the Dimensional Cores among them) and 118 Abyss Rift Zone bosses (all of them level 65; the 37 range from level 60 to 80). None of them are Spacetime Rift Domination NPCs, and no HeroMonster NPC is left in the Abyss maps. Nothing else on those rows changed and no other table uses the new value, so what it does is decided in game code, which the data doesn't show.

[True] Praetorian Captain weapons: item level 148, stats and cost

The September 16 note added [True] Guardian and Archon Praetorian Captain weapons and guards, without an item level or stats. The client has 20 of them: 18 weapons and 2 Guards, 10 per faction, at item level 148 (base level 120). Their internal grade is Epic, which our database shows as Heroic. Every existing Praetorian Captain weapon is item level 128, base and Elite alike, and the Guard has no Elite version. No [True] armor or accessories were added.

Compared with the 128 Guardian Praetorian Captain Greatsword (the Elite version has the same stat values, but 4 soul-binding sub-stat slots instead of 5, and extended weapon range):

Praetorian Captain Greatsword[True] Praetorian Captain Greatsword
Item level128148
Min / Max Attack548 / 742693 / 937
Accuracy100200

PvP Damage Boost10%15%
Soul-binding sub-stats (example: Combat Speed)15.30–17.67%16.83–19.42% (ranges rise about 10%)

The [True] weapons keep both sides: 5 soul-binding sub-stat slots, like the base weapon, and the Elite's extended weapon range (the data's ExtendingWeapon flag, range 200). So upgrading an Elite weapon also restores the fifth sub-stat slot. The Guards have no extended range, [True] or not.

The [True] Guard has Attack 204, Accuracy 100, Critical Hit 100 and PvP Damage Boost 15%, against 161, 50, 50 and 10% on the 128 Guard.

The enhancement table moves from the item-level-128 Epic group to the 148 one. That group isn't new: it already existed, unchanged, and the item-level-148 [True] Genesis Dragon Lord and [True] Nemesis Dragon Lord weapons and the Unbound Midnight Sun's raid weapons use it.

Two ways to get one

Costs are in Abyss Points and Platinum Medal of Merit:

RouteCost
Upgrade a weapon (Transfer Crafting in Blacksmithing, Abyss tab)The matching Elite weapon (e.g. Elite Guardian Praetorian Captain Greatsword / Elite Archon Praetorian Captain Greatsword) + 3,900,000 Abyss Points + 210 Platinum Medals of Merit
Upgrade the GuardThe regular Guardian Praetorian Captain Guard / Archon Praetorian Captain Guard (there is no Elite Guard) + 5,900,000 Abyss Points + 310 medals
Buy a [True] weapon or Guard outright12,530,500 Abyss Points + 830 Platinum Medals of Merit
For scale: buy the 128 base weapon7,817,300 Abyss Points + 520 medals
For scale: buy the 128 Elite weapon9,380,800 Abyss Points + 620 medals
For scale: buy the Elite, then upgrade it13,280,800 Abyss Points + 830 medals

Each shop listing sells a single weapon and has no purchase limit set. Weapon listings are tagged with their class; the Guard listing has no class. They sit in a new Abyss-equipment tab (grade 7 in the data) of the Abyss, Arena and Battlefield coin shops, all of which the client titles "Trade Shop".

If you don't already own the Elite weapon, buying the [True] one outright costs 750,300 fewer Abyss Points than buying the Elite and upgrading it, for the same 830 medals (our arithmetic from the table above).

Abyss ranking rewards, exactly

The September 16 note says contribution medals were raised "somewhat" for Abyss boss fights, Artifact Sieges and the Domination. The client has the exact ladders as of v119. Rankings are per class, and every class gets the same rewards.

Abyss boss rankings

Nahma's rank brackets are 1–2 / 3–5 / 6–10 / 11–20 / 21–40 / 41–1000. The other bosses' are 1–2 / 3–5 / 6–10 / 11–1000.

The Enraged Guardian Lord Nahma rankings still add 1 Nahma's Horn Fragment (Bound).

Artifact Siege: Platinum at every rank

Artifact Siege ranking rewards are now all Platinum Medal of Merits. Before, the lower ranks paid Gold Medal of Merits and Silver Medal of Merits:

RankBefore (v110)After (v119)
1–23 Platinum3 Platinum
3–52 Platinum3 Platinum
6–103 Gold3 Platinum
11–202 Gold2 Platinum
21–403 Silver2 Platinum
41–1002 Silver2 Platinum
101–10001 Silver1 Platinum

Abyss Rift Zone boss rankings

The data has three of these ranking ladders. No client text names them, so "Type 1" to "Type 3" below are the data's internal group names:

  • Type 1: ranks 11–20 go from 1 to 2 Platinum, ranks 21–40 from 3 Gold to 2 Platinum, and ranks 41–400 from 2 Gold to 1 Platinum.
  • Type 2: 2 Gold / 1 Gold / 2 Silver becomes 3 / 2 / 1 Gold.
  • Type 3: 1 Gold / 2 Silver / 1 Silver becomes 2 / 2 / 1 Gold.

Spacetime Rift Domination rank chests

The Domination's rank chests were reissued with better medals for the lower ranks. Victory chests:

RankBefore (v110)After (v119)
Dominator5 Platinum5 Platinum
Conqueror4 Platinum4 Platinum
Vanguard3 Platinum3 Platinum
Valiant5 Gold3 Platinum
Knight4 Gold2 Platinum
Squire3 Gold2 Platinum
Adventurer5 Silver1 Platinum

Participation chests follow the same pattern, and Wanderer goes from 3 Silver to 3 Gold. The Abyss Points in the chests are unchanged (70,000 / 50,000 / 30,000).

Spacetime Rift Domination is now scored

The September 23 note mentions more arrival points and an alert for defenders. The client shows the scoring behind the mode. Each of the six stronghold groups (A, B and C per faction) lists 4 strongholds. Every stronghold is now worth 1 point, where v110 scored them all 0, and each group has a new win score of 3. Our reading is that attackers must take 3 of the 4; the data gives the win score, not the rule.

The client also adds a server message, "{0} Stronghold is under attack.", and two screen broadcasts, "Attacking Team Capture Success" and "Defending Team Protection Failure". Each group now has its own entry-teleport set with 15 arrival points. Before, each group pointed at one or two generic teleport sets (named RiftPortal in the data) of 5 arrival points each, shared between groups.

Tradeable Potential Stones and the new shop prices

The September 16 note says Abyss monsters now drop Potential Stones that aren't soul-bound. In the client these are new items, "Potential Stone: Abyss (Heroic)" and "Potential Stone: Abyss (Unique)", and they are fully tradeable: exchangeable, listed in the marketplace under Consumables > Miscellaneous, and storable in Server Storage and Legion Storage. They replace the bound Potential Stone: Abyss (Heroic) (Bound) and Potential Stone: Abyss (Unique) (Bound) on all 326 Abyss monster loot rows. Drop rates are unchanged; only the item was swapped.

New combine rules pair each bound stone with its tradeable twin, and appear to let the tradeable stones count as the bound ones wherever the bound stone is a cost: the Potential enhancement of Abyss gear and the 5 Unique → 1 Heroic stone conversion. No cost row names the rules, so where they apply is our reading. No crafting recipe uses these stones. Bound copies still come from 31 reward packages, including those inside the new Spacetime Rift Victory chests.

The Superior Manastones and Soulstones that the September 16 note added to two shops (the September 23 note refunded their buyers the price difference) have these prices in the v119 client, each limited to 20 per week per server account. The shops are the ones the notes name, in the client's English: the Nightmare menu's Trade Shop and the Shugo Festival's Festival Shop. Our translations of the notes call the first one the [Nightmare – Exchange Shop]; "Exchange Shop" is our rendering, not the client's:

ShopListingPrice
Nightmare – Trade ShopSuperior Manastone (Bound)500 Phantasmal Fragment
Nightmare – Trade ShopSuperior Soulstone (Bound)750 Phantasmal Fragment
Nightmare – Trade Shop500 Enhance Stone (not in the notes we translated)100 Phantasmal Fragment
Shugo Festival – Festival ShopSuperior Manastone (Bound)100 Centuryroot Token
Shugo Festival – Festival ShopSuperior Soulstone (Bound)150 Centuryroot Token

v110 had none of these listings, so the September 16 launch price behind the September 23 refund can't be read from the data.

Class changes: the numbers behind the notes

The September 16 note gives the Templar and Assassin PvE raises as percentages and describes the spec reworks in words; the September 23 note adds nine smaller class changes, most of them tooltip corrections. The client's skill tables have the values behind the raises and reworks, and behind three of the nine: Fracturing Rush, Robe of Cold and Soul's Cry.

Templar and Assassin PvE raises

Base damage row, flat damage plus coefficient:

SkillBefore (v110)After (v119)
Templar: Punishment1,268 flat + 391.5%1,394 flat + 430.5% (level-40 flat 9,078 → 9,983; the charge-stage rows rose too)
Templar: Shield Smite145 + 146.5%173 + 175.75%
Templar: Annihilate719 + 292.5%791 + 321.75%
Templar: Warding Strike353 + 193%388 + 212.5%
Assassin: Quick Slice58 + 63.5%61 + 70%

Assassin: Insignia Explosion, 1 stack224.56%246.4%
Assassin: Insignia Explosion, 5 stacks (top tier)320.8%352%

Each damage row carries two flat/coefficient pairs, and the raise changes only the first; the second pair in the same rows is unchanged. The data doesn't label the pairs, but that fits the note calling these PvE-only raises.

Templar spec reworks

  • Punishing Strike spec #5 is a net cut. In v110 it fired two full activations: 2 × (103 flat + 138.5%) and 2 × 5 Stagger Gauge Damage. In v119 it fires one activation (103 + 138.5%, 5 stagger) plus a bonus on a landed normal or critical hit of 64 flat + 69.25% (1,485 flat at skill level 40). Per cast the coefficient drops from 277% to 207.75%, exactly 25% less, and stagger drops from 10 to 5. At skill level 40 the flat damage drops from 5,890 to 4,430.
  • Pummel spec #4 now also cuts Punishment's cooldown by 1 second when Pummel itself lands a normal or critical hit on its main target. The same 1-second cut already existed in v110, but only on Punishing Strike hits, which is what v110's Pummel spec #4 tooltip described. v119 adds the link from Pummel, which matches the note's "now also applies to Pummel".

Cleric, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster and Gladiator

  • Cleric, Radiant Recovery spec #2: now a charge skill with 2 charges, each recharging in 12 seconds, or 9 seconds on the variants that also include spec #3's −3 s. It is no longer a single-use cooldown.
  • Sorcerer, Robe of Cold: its two Slow debuffs (−25% and −38% Move and Flight Speed at base, scaling with skill level) each gained an effect row of the data's internal type Snare, which is what Cold Snap's passive checks for; in game both the debuffs and Cold Snap's tooltip say Slow. Both debuffs already carried that internal Snare type in v110; the effect row was what was missing, and they were 2 of only 4 player slows without one. This matches the September 23 fix for Cold Snap not triggering on targets slowed by Robe of Cold. Robe of Cold's tooltip is unchanged.
  • Spiritmaster, Soul's Cry: the four variants that combine spec #1 with one other spec cost 0 MP in v110 and now cost 150 MP, like every other variant. That is the data side of the September 23 fix for MP not being consumed with certain spec #1 combinations.
  • Gladiator: the September 23 "use in the key-input direction" change covers Fracturing Rush and its two chain follow-ups, 6 variants each (18 rows). Destructive Rush is the chain skill added by Fracturing Rush spec #2, and Unsheathing Rush the one added by spec #5, chaining off Destructive Rush; neither is a standalone skill.
  • Gladiator, Ankle Slice: the variant with specs #1, #2 and #3 has its use range raised from 4 m to 20 m, like every other spec #3 variant already had. That is the data side of the September 16 fix for spec #3's range not applying with all three specs.

Chuseok events, two Daeva Passes and the event foods

The Chuseok events are in the September 23 note. In the client, the 28-day attendance is "Bountiful Harvest-Tide Journey", the 7-day one "Atreian Harvest-Tide Festival", and the event currency "Harvest-Tide Moon Coin (Event)", traded with NPCs named "Harvest Moon Coin Trader". The coin from Expedition and Transcendence is "Moon Rabbit Aura (Event)". The note's "Full Moon Merchants" and "Boost-Up" event names have no client string.

The two event foods are 5-minute buffs. Harvest-Tide Round Ricecake raises Attack and Defense and adds +300 Max Stamina. Delicious Persimmon raises Max HP and Max MP and adds +300 Max Stamina. The Attack, Defense, HP and MP amounts scale with level in the data.

Abyssal Invitation, the September 16 pass

Its unlock level in the client is 45. Level 1 needs 700 pass XP and level 40 needs 28,000 XP in total; a 41st step at 33,000 XP is the repeat reward after level 40, not an extra level. The weekly XP cap is 12,000, as the note says, against 15,000 on the monthly passes. The client lists 9 level purchases at 50 Quna, where a regular monthly pass lists 50; the data doesn't say what that list limits. Premium adds Odyle Energy (Bound), as the note says.

Moon Rabbit's Gift: in the client, not in the notes we've translated

The client also schedules a separate 50-level Daeva Pass, "Moon Rabbit's Gift" (달토끼의 선물), with a Chuseok thumbnail. It is on sale from September 23, 05:00 to October 20, 05:00 and active until October 21, 05:00. Basic costs 2,000,000 Kina; Premium costs 1,000 Quna and includes 10 Odyle Energy. It is once per character, with a 15,000 weekly XP cap. Premium pays 15,000 Daeva Pass Shop Coin: Chapter 1 and 6,000 Soul Crystal over its ladder.

None of the official notes we have translated mentions it, although the August 26 note announced the previous monthly pass, Moonlit Oasis. The same pass slot, with identical dates, prices and rewards, was already in v110 under the placeholder title "Undecided"; v119 only named it and gave it the Chuseok thumbnail. Treat it as scheduled in the client, not confirmed: NC may have announced it somewhere we haven't translated, such as in game.

Not in the notes we've translated: a trust score, Odyle nodes, new field bosses

A trust score that can block shop purchases (and, it appears, marketplace actions)

A new TrustScoreStep table defines five steps, 0 to 4, labelled simply "0" to "4". "Trust score" is our label, taken from the table's name: no player-facing client text names it. The data doesn't say whether the score is per account or per character. v119 adds three server errors that can refuse an action:

  • An in-game shop purchase: "Cannot currently purchase this product." This is on a new result code named explicitly for the trust score.
  • A marketplace purchase: "Cannot currently purchase this item." This is a second message on the existing marketplace exchange-limit result, which in v110 already showed the daily purchase-limit error.
  • Collecting marketplace earnings: "Cannot currently be settled." This is on a new exchange-limit result.

Only the shop refusal is tied to the trust score by name. The two marketplace refusals sit on exchange-limit results, and we link them to the trust score only through the tooltips: the exchange daily-limit, trade buy-limit and trade payout-limit tooltips, plus a HUD tooltip, have text keys that use the same "confidence step" naming as the TrustScoreStep levels (UI_CONFIDENCE_STEP_0 to 4). Those tooltips are placeholder text, "Temporary Text Lv. {0}", and already were in v110, so that UI predates v119.

The thresholds are set on the server. It looks like a trust tier that limits trading, for example against real-money trading, but that purpose is inferred; the data doesn't state it.

Odyle nodes in 12 party dungeons

Odyle gathering nodes changed in the Normal and Hard versions of 12 party dungeons, including Fire Temple, Krao Cave, Hall of Illusion, Azure Breath Island, Citadel of the Fallen Daeva and Consumed Deus Research Base. The single Odyle spawner (15 candidate positions) that the dungeon script started after the clear is gone. The map data now places five numbered Odyle spawners with three candidate positions each, not tied to any script step. If each spawner places one node, that is five nodes per run instead of one, but the data can't prove it. The node type depends on the dungeon: Odyle, Splendent Odyle or Mysterious Odyle. The client's own item-source routes for Odyle in these dungeons were removed.

Two field bosses placed in Eltnen and Morheim

Eltnen and Morheim map data now place two level-80 field bosses whose NPC records already existed: High Commander Taruna in Eltnen and High Commander Taytra in Morheim. The client doesn't say when they spawn. The same maps gain about 400 empty placeholder spawns, among them entrance portals for Sealed Dungeons 081 to 100 on each side. The Map and Dungeon tables have no rows for those dungeons yet; they stop at 080.

Smaller things

  • The "shortened" Sync cast from the September 23 note (Soul Attunement in our translation) is 0.4 seconds in the client, plus a 0.5-second result step. Soul Binding's own cast stays 2.5 seconds. v110 had no separate Sync timing, which suggests Sync used the 2.5-second bind cast before; that part is inferred.
  • A shop error keyed for EU purchases: "Please agree to the purchase policy." The client also adds 44 key-cap glyphs for European and Cyrillic keyboard layouts (ß, ü, ö, ä, ñ, ¿, «, ё, ж and others); 11 of them still show "???" in English. No gameplay key bindings changed.

Names: what the client calls things

Our translations of the Korean notes had to render some names before we could check them against the client. These are the Taiwanese v119 client's English strings, joined to the Korean text on the same key. Our translations of the September 23 notes now use them, except for the name of the mode itself, which our patch-note pages still render Trial. Renderings marked 9/16 are from the September 16 translation:

Shop cosmetics from the September 23 note, as the client names them: Cloudrain Butterfly Reverie Set (2 Types), Vulpine Sunshower, Nightfall Butterfly Reverie, Inky Norigae Glasses, Silky Moonflower Veil, Light in Shadow, Plumed Guard's Hat, Floral Gache Hairpiece, Baby Birb (both the pet and the shoulder skin), Fiery Black Kumiho and Pearlescent Fan Wings. Our first translation used literal glosses for several of them, such as "Jeollip" for Plumed Guard's Hat and "Baby Long-Tailed Tit" for Baby Birb. Dokkaebi Mask, General's Helm, Topknot Crown, the Moon Rabbit's Red and Blue Gift Bundles, and the Lava Heart Accessory and Sanctuary Final Boss Kill Ticket selection chests already matched.

The September 16 note's Snowfield of Sorrow mechanics are Harvest Chill (not Cold Harvest), Frostbind, Falling Ice Crystal and Heart of Winter in the client; Manifested Wrath and Bittercold Wrath already matched.

How we got these numbers

We extracted the Taiwanese client after its September 23 patch (v119) and compared every data table, and every English, Korean and Traditional Chinese text string, with our extract of v110 from September 9. The differences were analysed area by area, and each finding was then re-checked by a separate pass that read the raw tables again. Only findings that held up are used here, in the corrected wording where the re-check changed it. Totals such as the weekly Subjugation Mark figure are our arithmetic from those tables and are labelled that way.

What the client can't tell us: anything decided on the server (spawn times, the debuff timer, trust-score thresholds), and whether Korea's values match Taiwan's exactly. The Taiwanese client's schedule dates match the Korean notes. Nothing in it says when, or whether, the Global version gets this content.

Our Korea/Taiwan database pages currently run on client v110 (September 9, 2026); every figure above is from v119.

Frequently asked questions

  • What are the Fire Temple Ordeal affix values in AION 2?

In the Taiwanese v119 client data (patched September 23, 2026): Time Limit 20, 15 or 10 minutes; Resurrection Limit 2, 1 or 0 resurrections in combat; Boss Buff levels 1 to 8, from +10% to +60% Damage Boost, with up to +260% Max HP, +50% Combat Speed and +100% Stagger Gauge; and Player Debuff, +50% Recovery Potion cooldown, or +100% with −50% Incoming Heal. Every attribute starts at level 1, so the Ordeal level runs from 4 to 16. These are client figures, not an NC announcement.

  • Who are the bosses in the Fire Temple Ordeal?

Level-88 versions of Fire Temple's four bosses: Kromede's Desire (the final boss, with a 240-second frenzy timer), Silver Blade Rotan, Red Spark Ignus and Black Smoke Murute. In Fire Temple on Conquest [Hard] difficulty they are level 74. This comes from the Taiwanese v119 client data; NC's note names no bosses.

  • How many Subjugation Marks does the Fire Temple Ordeal give?

In the Taiwanese v119 client: 2,000 at Ordeal level 4, rising to 10,000 at level 10 and 20,000 at levels 14 to 16. Each level pays once a week, and the 7 weekly Final Boss Kill Counts are spent only when the final boss dies, so clearing levels 10 to 16 pays 114,000 marks a week by our arithmetic. Vakron paid 79,000 for the same levels.

  • What does Battlefield Might do in the AION 2 Abyss?

Battlefield Might is the client's name for the Abyss buff added on September 23 (전장의 권능). In the Taiwanese v119 client it gives +10% Attack, +5% Defense, +10% Combat Speed, +25% PvE Damage Boost and PvE Damage Tolerance, +12.5% PvP Damage Boost and PvP Damage Tolerance, +200 Critical Hit and Accuracy, +5% Critical Damage Boost, +2.5% Weapon Damage Boost, −5% skill cooldowns, +10% Double and Perfect Chance, and an on-hit critical damage proc that absorbs HP.

  • What item level are the [True] Praetorian Captain weapons?

Item level 148 in the Taiwanese v119 client, up from 128 for the regular and Elite Praetorian Captain weapons. They upgrade from the Elite weapon for 3,900,000 Abyss Points and 210 Platinum Medals of Merit, or can be bought outright for 12,530,500 Abyss Points and 830 medals. NC's September 16 note gives no item level.

  • Is Moon Rabbit's Gift a new AION 2 Daeva Pass?

The Taiwanese v119 client schedules a 50-level Daeva Pass called Moon Rabbit's Gift, on sale from September 23 to October 20 (Basic 2,000,000 Kina, Premium 1,000 Quna). None of the official notes we have translated announces it, so treat it as scheduled in the client, not confirmed.
