AION 2 EU Outage Compensation, New Nathara and Tassin Servers, and Stronger Quest Wings
As of October 9, 2026, NC's official notices say a cloud service outage hit 21 EU servers on October 8 and has been resolved. Affected players get 1 day of membership, 1 day of pet auto loot and a bound Daeva Supply chest. NC also opened the EU servers Nathara and Tassin and scheduled a 1.5-hour maintenance that raises the Flight Power of the four quest wings.

What happened: an EU cloud outage on October 8
On October 8, 2026 NC posted a notice to the official notice board saying that a set of EU servers were "affected by a cloud service outage", and later marked the same notice resolved. It named 21 servers: ten Elyos (Nezekan, Kaisinel, Ariel, Meslamtaeda, Nania, Luteros, Daminu, Bakarma, Kochi, Tiamat) and eleven Asmodian (Zikel, Lumiel, Azphel, Beritra, Ulgorn, Odar, Kromede, Baba, Fafnir, Agnita, Atiel). Compensation for the affected servers
NC's compensation notice, posted the evening of October 8, covers players on the affected servers. Three things are delivered: 1 day of membership for players with an active membership on an impacted server, 1 day of pet auto loot for players who had it active, and a Special Daeva Supply chest by mail. The membership and pet auto loot days arrive during the upcoming maintenance and need no action; the chest comes by mail.
The chest lists: Life Crystal (Bound) x20, Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x10, Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) x20, Content Usage Ticket Selection Chest (Bound) x5 and Odyle Energy (Bound) x5. The notice does not give a deadline for claiming the mail.
New EU servers and the October 9 maintenance
Separately, NC opened a new EU pair at 09:00 PDT / 18:00 CEST on October 8: Nathara (Elyos) and Tassin (Asmodian). It says server transfers will be available in the future so players can rejoin friends, and that instanced content including dungeons is available cross-server. Free transfers were already promised in the launch rewards and server transfer notice, and the earlier new EU server openings followed a similar pattern.
A temporary maintenance was scheduled for October 8, 23:30 PDT / October 9, 08:30 CEST, lasting 1.5 hours with login unavailable on all services (schedule subject to change per NC). Its one listed change is server stabilization plus a Flight Power increase for the four quest-obtainable wings: Daeva's Lesser Wings go from 2,000 to 2,500, and the Intermediate, Superior and Ultimate Wings from 500 to 1,000 each (Elyos and Asmodian versions). This follows the October 6 patch notes.
