What NC announced

On October 28, 2026 at 08:30 server time, NC posted "10/28 (Wed) New Pass Product Info" to the official EN-US notice board. It introduces the Daeva Pass, a mission-based reward track, and its first season, named Prelude to Flight. It is reached from the in-game menu under Subscribe. Sales run from October 28, 2026 at 12:00 AM PDT (08:00 CET) to December 2, 2026 at 12:00 AM PST (09:00 CET). NC adds that items can be purchased, missions completed and rewards claimed until the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, December 1 (PST) / Wednesday, December 2 (CET).

Two tracks exist. Prelude to Flight (Basic) is free. Prelude to Flight (Premium) costs 1,000 Quna and adds a Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) x20 up front plus bigger rewards at each level. Each can be bought once per character, and paid rewards go only to the character that bought them. This sits alongside the Quna-priced products described in the July 8 Business Model notice and is another paid item to weigh in our free-to-play guide.

How leveling the Pass works

You earn Pass EXP by completing missions during the period. The maximum Pass level is 50. EXP earned after level 50 can be spent on further levels for repeatable rewards: one Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) per repeat on Basic, one Odyle Energy (Bound) on Premium. You can also buy levels for 50 Quna each. NC's EXP table is:

  • Defeat 10 monsters: 60 EXP
  • Successful Gather: 30 EXP
  • Successful Craft: 30 EXP
  • Clear Expedition/Transcendence: 300 EXP
  • Successful Gear Enhancement: 10 EXP
  • Successful Gear Extraction: 10 EXP
  • Successful Gear Soul Binding: 20 EXP
  • Open a Hidden Cube: 50 EXP

Pass EXP is capped at 15,000 per character per week. NC does not publish how much EXP each level needs, so the notice alone does not tell you how many weeks a full 50 levels takes. The sales window is about five weeks, with a hard stop at the December 1/2 maintenance. We have not calculated a completion time because the per-level requirement is missing.

Rewards and the Pass Shop

Both tracks pay mostly consumables: Small Odyle Energy (Bound) on Basic and Odyle Energy (Bound) on Premium at most levels, plus Unknown Fissure Challenge Tickets, Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets, Battle Enhance Scrolls and Resurrection Spiritstones (Bound). Premium doubles or triples the ticket and scroll counts at the same levels; for example level 10 gives 2 Resurrection Spiritstones on Basic and 3 on Premium, and level 6 gives 1 Battle Enhance Scroll on Basic and 3 on Premium.

Premium also pays Daeva Pass Shop Coin: Season 1, 1,500 at each of levels 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27, 32, 37, 42 and 47. That is 15,000 coins across ten drops, by our arithmetic. The Pass Shop lists Bound cosmetics at one per character: Cozy Forest Shugo weapon skins (14,000 coins each), Shaggy Shugo Friend and Mischievous Shugo armor pieces (breastplates 30,000, helms 7,000, boots 8,000), Floofy Shugo Friend boots (8,000), Urd's Squirrel shoulder (12,000), Warm Sunlight Shugo earrings (4,000) and necklace (5,000), and the Swift Lugi pet (10,000). Since a Premium Pass pays 15,000 coins in total, it covers only a small part of that list, and NC says the exchange list is subject to change.

Coins, Pass rewards and the Pass Shop are usable until the December 15, 2026 maintenance, the same day NC's Rise to the Challenge event ends. Small Odyle Energy, Unknown Fissure Challenge Tickets and Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets are removed on December 16, 2026 at 12:00 AM PST.

What the notice does not say

As of October 28, 2026, NC has not published the EXP required per Pass level, or whether a Season 2 is planned. The notice states only that the product may be offered for sale again in the same or a similar form.
