AION 2 Rise to the Challenge: Resurrection Spiritstones for Kina Until December 15
NC's October 21, 2026 event notice lets players buy Resurrection Spiritstones with Kina in two weekly tiers per server: 30 for 25,000 Kina, then 30 for 50,000 Kina, from after the October 20 maintenance until before the December 15 maintenance. Time-limited stones are consumed before permanent ones, and everything is non-tradable.

What the Rise to the Challenge event sells
On October 21, 2026, NC posted "[Event] Rise to the Challenge" to the official notice board, an event meant to support dungeon attempts by selling Resurrection Spiritstones for Kina. It runs from after the maintenance on October 20 (PDT) / October 21 (CEST) until before the maintenance on December 15 (PST) / December 16 (CET). The items are bought in the Shop under Wind Breeze Merchants.
There are two step-up tiers. Step 1 costs 25,000 Kina for 30 Resurrection Spiritstones, and Step 2 costs 50,000 Kina for another 30. Both are limited per server per week, and NC says the next tier can only be bought after you reach the purchase limit of the previous one. That makes a full week's supply 60 stones for 75,000 Kina. The total is our arithmetic, not an NC figure. It builds on the single 25,000-Kina offer from the October 6 patch, which was capped at 10 purchases per server per week.
How the time-limited stones are used
NC says a time-limited Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1) is consumed first when you resurrect a character. Permanent Resurrection Spiritstones (Bound) already in your inventory are used only after all the time-limited ones are gone. The event notice lists the Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) for removal at 00:00 PST on December 16, 2026 (09:00 CET). All items from the event are non-tradable, and rewards arrive in your inventory immediately.
The same event appears in the October 20/21 patch notes, which also add Hard mode to the Krao Cave and Draupnir expeditions and a new Ariel Daevanion board; those are covered in the October 21 patch notes. Our reading of the event notice is that the removal date applies to the stones bought here, but NC words it as the Bound item and does not spell out how it relates to the Season 1 name. As with all events, NC says schedules and some rewards may change.
Update, October 28, 2026: NC's new Daeva Pass: Prelude to Flight also pays Resurrection Spiritstones (Bound) at levels 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50, and its rewards expire at the same December 15 maintenance.
