AION 2 Producer's Letter: Server Transfers on October 14, Ludra's Return and Seasonal Events

What NC published
As of October 12, 2026, the most recent non-technical post on the official EN-US notice board is "AION 2 Producer's Letter: Welcome to Atreia!", displayed October 10, 2026 and signed "The AION 2 Team". It is published as a single image rather than text. It thanks players for the first days of the global launch, says the team reads reviews, community hub posts, Discord threads and social comments every day, and notes the team has been following the War for Atreia creator event.
It also points to changes already made on player feedback: membership was added to the Founder's Packs (see our Founder's Pack membership coverage), and the team says it adopted a zero queue policy for the Official Launch after seeing higher-than-expected queue times during Early Access, while still watching population distribution.
Server transfers on October 14, first one free
The letter states that server transfers arrive on October 14, with no cost for the first transfer. The stated goals are to let players reach their preferred server, keep legions together, or join a favorite content creator's server. This matches the details in NC's separate transfer notices, which we cover in server transfer dates, costs and rules; the letter itself gives no prices or schedule beyond the October 14 date and the free first transfer.
Until transfers open, NC says players can use cross-server matchmaking to run Expedition and Transcendence instances with friends on other servers.
What NC says is coming
The letter calls launch "a starting line, not a finish line" and promises content "in a steady cadence": new challenges, events and adventures "starting with Ludra's return and our first seasonal celebrations". No dates or details are given for either. For the background on Ludra, see NC's October 5 notice removing Sanctuary Raid: Ludra from the launch build, which promised a date by October 16.
NC also commits to communicating quickly about problems, through notices, Discord moderators and broadcasts with its hosts Stella, Gator and Void, and its social channels. The letter does not announce new features, patch contents or compensation.
