AION 2 Patch Notes — October 7, 2026

You can now see straight from a field named monster's icon on the world map whether you have completed its kill achievement.

• Achievement not completed: the boss icon shows a kill-achievement badge.
• Achievement completed, or the monster has no achievement: no badge is shown.

• A new option hides your own character's nameplate.
• Turn it on or off under [Settings] > [Info Display] > [General] > [Nameplate] > [Show My Nameplate].

All classes: fixed attacks on a target while airborne sometimes failing to land even when the target was within range.

Reshanta Surface

• If you go over the entry gear limit after entering (for example by changing equipment), your character now dies instantly.
• Being expelled from the map and the 1-hour deduction from your usage time still apply, as before.

Server rematch

• With the server rematch, Artifact and Abyss corridor captures are reset.
• Chapter 1, 8th matching: see the official CM Azit post for the server-matching details.

Optimization

• Optimizations to reduce stuttering in large-scale battles in Reshanta Surface, Lower and Middle Reshanta, and the Abyss Rift Zone.

Refining stones

• The chance of higher-grade refining stones dropping is raised in Chalice of Muspel (Normal / Hard) and Snowfield of Sorrow (Easy / Normal / Hard).
• 'Artisan's Ultimate Refining Stone (Soul-bound)' can now be bought in the [Expedition – Exchange Shop].

Artifact Siege

• The faction that did not land the final blow on the Dimensional Core now also receives a reward.

Wind Breeze Merchants

• The prices of 'Resurrection Spiritstone (Soul-bound)' and 'Pet: Auto-Loot Ticket (Soul-bound)' in [Wind Breeze Merchants – Special] are lowered.
• Players who already bought a 'Pet: Auto-Loot Ticket' will be refunded the Kina difference, based on play logs, as soon as possible.
• The NPC shop price of 'Pet: Auto-Loot Ticket (Soul-bound)' is lowered too.

Other shop changes

• The Abyss, Nightmare and Festival shops add a 'Stigma Shard' listing.
• The Abyss shop adds a 'Daevanion Crystal: Azphel (Soul-bound)' listing that costs fewer Abyss Points than the existing one.
• Festival shop: 'Soul Crystal' is now sold in bundles of 50, up to 15 bundles a week.
• Nightmare shop: 'Soul Crystal' is now sold in bundles of 50.

Masterpiece Remnant (명화의 잔흔)

• The per-mode 'Masterpiece Remnants' from the Shugo Festival are merged into a single 'Shugo Festival (Remnant: Masterpiece)'.
• Per-mode Masterpiece Remnants you already own can be converted into 'Shugo Festival (Remnant: Masterpiece)' through Material Conversion.
• New conversion recipes turn Masterpiece Remnants obtained in Expeditions into 'Enhance Stone' and 'Soul Crystal'.

Duty Quests

• Duty Quest rewards in Verteron and Altgard are raised to the same level as in Eltnen and Morheim.

Daily dungeons

• Completing a daily dungeon now gives more rewards even at a low score, and the gap between score brackets is narrowed.

Hidden Cubes

• The 'Soul Crystal' you can get by spending a key on a Hidden Cube rises from 100 to 1,000.
• Soul Crystals already obtained this way during Chapter 1 will be topped up to the new amount, paid retroactively based on play logs.

Resurrection Flare (부활의 신호탄)

• Runs from after the October 7 regular maintenance until the October 21 regular maintenance.
• On top of the Resurrection Spiritstones already sold in the shop, you can buy extra ones during the event.

Expedition & Transcendence Hangawi Boost-Up ends

• The event's items and material-conversion recipes are deleted, and reward amounts return to normal.
• Hidden Cubes go back to their usual appearance.

• Sound options: a new setting turns the sound of your own wings on or off.
• Presets for equipment, wings, titles, Pantheon, Genus Insight, skills and Arcana go from 3 to 5, and the HUD preset sets expand to 5 to match.
• Closet presets go from 3 to 6.

• Fixed characters being invisible when playing on Radeon 8060S integrated graphics.
• Fixed several visual artifact issues when using FSR.
• Fixed the game force-closing right after launch on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14.
• Fixed the UI being cut off on some Galaxy Fold devices.
• A World Marker you have set now stays visible when you move within your force.
• Trial 'Fire Temple': fixed a certain skill of boss 'Kromede's Desire' dealing excessive damage to Spiritmasters' spirits.
