AION 2 Patch Notes — March 11, 2026
The March 11, 2026 update enables cross-faction (race-integrated) dungeon parties, unlocks the Corroded Decontamination Facility Sanctuary, adds potential enhancement to field-boss gear, and applies class changes. Translated from the official Korean update note.

Content & Systems
- Race-integrated matching: Elyos and Asmodians can now party together for Expedition, Transcendence and Sanctuary dungeons (shared party/force/dungeon chat and Kisks). Draupnir's entrance moves to each faction's homeland (Verteron / Altgard), and the related episode quests are reordered (clear Draupnir, then enter the Abyss).
- Sanctuary: Abyssal Forge: Rudra weekly challenges reduced 4 → 2, its mid-boss reward upgraded to the “Greater Abyssal Box” (2× contents); the new Sanctuary “Corroded Decontamination Facility” is unlocked.
- Expedition: Dying Dramata's Nest and Cradle of Nihility (Conquest) guaranteed rewards add “Philosopher's Stone: Revelation.”
- Potential gear: Unique-grade field-boss gear can now be potential-enhanced (and used as a Potential Stone conversion material).
- Material conversion / crafting: new “Breath of Mana” recipe from Cores, Draconic gear usable as inheritance-stone material, new Soul Book recipes; the “Response/Machine Dragon King” blueprints are removed from the craft list.
- Rift of Time/Space: after hitting the Abyss Point cap, you can still earn a very small amount of extra Abyss Points there.

Events, promotion & fixes
- Events: White Day gifts (mailed buff sweets/scrolls Mar 14–18) and a White Day “Love Buff” with event merchants and conversion recipes for the buff items.
- Promotion: new Daeva Pass “Odd's Grace.”
- Improvements: dungeon-retry flow (instant in-dungeon retry at full party, auto-ready otherwise), soul-attunement auto-registration keeping the chosen slot, a photosensitivity-reduction accessibility option, and a Daevanion point cap.
- Fixes: Nightmare/Transcendence fixes, regular-extraction appraiser visuals, and Season 2 item-deletion dates moved to April 8.
- Reclaim: retroactive refunds for the lowered Medal-of-Honor material-conversion Kinah cost (Dec 10 2025 – Mar 4 2026).
