AION 2 Patch Notes — December 24, 2025
The December 24, 2025 update adds Hard difficulties for two expeditions, the Odium Storage daily dungeon, a unified weekly Abyss-point cap, DLSS Multi Frame Generation, Apple Silicon support, and Christmas events. Translated from the official Korean update note.

Content & Systems
- Expeditions: Hard difficulty added to Fire Temple and Ferocious Horn Den (with new achievements).
- New daily dungeon “Odium Storage,” rewarding Growth Pet Boxes by clear score; the old “Bio Research Base ticket” becomes the “Unknown Rift ticket” (choose Bio Research Base or Odium Storage), and Bio Research Base shrinks from 3 stages to 1.
- Abyss-point cap unified to 400,000 per week across PvE and PvP; only Abyss-zone PvP counts toward it (open-field PvP excluded).
- Item-drop limit (from the daily Kinah cap) expands to sealed dungeons, outposts, Transcendence and Expeditions; capped players in a party can't loot or receive distribution.
- Abyss: no teleport for a while after combat ends; “Skyway Guardian” NPCs and Odd placed in the Lower zone; reduced rank-point loss on PvP death (~50%); losing-faction “Abyssal Attunement” buff. Rift of Time/Space: attacking enemy NPCs/Kisks forces PvP mode for 10 min with an Abyss-point buff.
- Balance: field-named/Abyss boss/Dimensional Core damage resistance raised; Guardian-General transform HP/PvP-amp lowered; high-evasion returns reduced; item-level-gap damage falloff steepened. Mobile gains an auto-dodge support for floor attacks.
Class Changes
Common
Shock Clear Spec 1 damage resistance 20% → 30%; Spec 2 → restore 1000 action power. Many skills across all classes are made to scale with combat speed and given faster motions.

Systems, events & fixes
- Conversion: a Monolith-based Soul-Sealing Stone recipe, retuned Stigma Shard recipes (+ a 48-fragment 100% recipe), and a new “Abyssal Soul-Sealing Stone” (10% extra damage, partial defense ignore on PCs) from Abyss orders.
- Economy: Black Cloud pet prices −50%; Oath Coins set to delete at season end (Jan 21); Exploration weekly Kinah-rate thresholds halved.
- UI: separate World/Server brokerage hotkeys and colors, brokerage search shortcuts, auto-filled listing prices, a Pantheon deco-cancel button, and warehouse materials usable directly in integrated enhancement.
- Events: Daeva Look Change Week, the “Shugo's Golden Gift” pass (20 levels), and Christmas (a Dec 25 gift bundle).
- Settings: DLSS Multi Frame Generation (Off/2x/3x/4x) for RTX 5000-series, a skill-reservation toggle, and Apple Silicon Mac support; plus many dungeon/quest/cosmetic fixes.
