AION 2 Patch Notes — October 28, 2026 (Abyss Outland battle royale, gathering limit)
The October 28 Korean update adds Abyss Outland, a roughly 100-player last-player-standing PvP mode (character level 45+, item level 3000+), a daily gathering limit that resets at 5 AM, new 9 AM and 9 PM Argo spawn times, Abyssal Forge: Ludra fixes and a Mysterious Crystal (Soul-bound) for characters hit by the Arcana extraction change.

Abyss Outland is entered through the Abyss UI. It is a battle-royale style solo PvP mode in which about 100 players fight until one is left standing.

- Wanderer's Coins can be spent on various goods at the Abyss Exchange Shop.
- Wanderer's Coins have a weekly earning cap that resets every Wednesday at 5 AM.

Content & systems: Gathering
- A daily gathering limit is introduced to deter gathering macros.
- The count accumulates per server and includes every gathering attempt: successes, failures and cancellations.
- The count resets every day at 5 AM.
- Once the daily limit is reached you can no longer gather, and a notice explains why.
- The current count is shown at the top left of the HUD.

Improvements
- Character-switch animation: the colours shown when switching characters change from the previous bright tone to a dark one.
- Mobile Dodge Assist no longer dodges out of floor zones you are supposed to stand in.
Fixes
- Abyssal Forge: Ludra — during a fight with a mid-boss, characters who are not in the position that matches their party are teleported to the dungeon entrance.
- Sprinting and mounts are no longer cancelled by damage-over-time effects while out of combat.
- Fixes the screen displaying abnormally on some mobile devices with PowerVR GPUs.
Recovery and restoration
The Arcana extraction entries changed on October 21, 2026. Characters whose accumulated extraction progress was deleted by that change receive 1 Mysterious Crystal (Soul-bound) in a one-time grant.
