AION 2 Patch Notes — November 21, 2025
A Friday emergency-maintenance update: level-based PvP Abyss-point rules, much stronger guards with stealth detection, the special Pagati pet, fixed mobile support, and Ranger/Cleric tuning. Translated from the official Korean update note.

Content & Systems
- Rift of Time/Space: portal lifetime and enemy-territory stay both cut from 1 hour to 30 minutes.
- PvP Abyss points: killing lower-level enemies gives −20% per level gap (none at 5+ levels), while higher-level targets always give 100%; enemy character level is shown and name color scales with level gap; the daily same-target limit changes from a score cap to 3 kills (in each of the Elyos, Asmodian and Abyss zones).
- Guards: stronghold guards greatly strengthened, with status immunity and stealth detection.
- New special pet “Pagati” in the Chengarung shop (2,000,000 Kinah, once per character); special pets no longer add special-race understanding XP, and a duplicate-XP bug on normal pets is fixed.
- Mobile support fixed: all-class skill priority reworked and the Spiritmaster's spirit-summon skills made auto-castable.

Other changes & previews
- Boss balance: Conquest bosses (Urugugu Canyon, Vakron Sky Island, Fire Temple, Ferocious Horn Den), Transcendence bosses (Deus Research Base, Shattered Arkanis), and the Abyss Dimensional Core had their levels/stats raised.
- Abyss Artifact Capture re-open wait changed to 24 hours; quest-dungeon repeat deaths grant a Soul Forging PvE-resistance buff; chat service normalized.
- Previewed for the next maintenance: patrolling field guards, a reset of special-pet understanding XP, reclamation of duplicate normal-pet XP, and a homeland protection buff for characters at or below level 40.
