  • How does the AION 2 crafting calculator work?

    Search for the item you want to craft and set how many you need. The calculator instantly expands the recipe — and every sub-recipe inside it — down to raw materials, then sums everything into a single base-material shopping list. Each material shows the total quantity and links to where it drops, gathers or sells.

  • Does it include intermediate crafted materials?

    Yes. Many AION 2 recipes use components that are themselves crafted (combo parts, refined materials). The calculator recursively expands those sub-crafts so your shopping list only contains true raw materials — the things you actually gather, farm or buy.

  • What are “Splendent” / combo craft items?

    Most high-tier weapons and armor aren't crafted directly — each time you craft the base item there's a set chance (usually 25%) to also produce its upgraded “Splendent” version, which then becomes a component for the next tier. The calculator understands this: pick a Splendent item and it shows the base item's full material cost, the proc chance, and roughly how many crafts to expect — instead of an empty list.

  • Which crafting professions are covered?

    All of them — Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Jewelcrafting, Alchemy and Cooking — covering 1,416 craftable items pulled directly from the game data.

  • Can I account for materials I already have?

    Yes. Set how many of each material you already own and the shopping list updates to show only what's still missing, turning the tool into a live gathering checklist. You can also pin a sub-item as 'buy/gather' instead of crafting it.

  • Where do I get the raw materials?
